Daintree accommodation with free wifi is hard to find but now Rainforest Hideaway B&B in Cape Tribulation offers free wifi to all accommodation guests.
We are a long way from anywhere and internet and we survive with limited services and are often running behind the rest of the world.
Accommodation with free wifi has pretty well disappeared in the Daintree as the internet providers keep lowering the montly download quotas.
At Rainforest Hideaway we still offer all our accommodation guests an allowance of 80Mb per day at no charge, our WiFi router tracks all up and download and if you hit the 80Mb limit you'll lose connection, until the next day when you have another 80Mb to use.
As long as you don't download movies or allow your device or apps to do major updates then 80Mb per day is plenty to check email and get your other cyber business done.
Free Wifi at Rainforest Hideaway B&B in Cape TribulationWe have free WiFi for our accommodation guests, on the following conditions:
1. Use the internet for real stuff, don't watch movies and download music all night.
2. No complaining about the speed, our satellite does not do the same speed as your internet cable in Sydney or London, and heavy cloud cover or rain may interrupt the satellite signal too.
3. Wifi available only between 8 AM and 10 PM.
While we used to advertise this accommodation before as a Digital Detox Zone, we are now one of the very few accommodation houses in Cape Tribulation and the Daintree offering FREE WIFI !!
